About Me
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong in 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Jing Liao. Before pursuing my doctoral studies in Hong Kong, I spent two years as a Ph.D. student specializing in pattern recognition at the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University (BUAA). Earlier, I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Engineering Mechanics and Business Administration (as a dual degree) from BUAA in 2018.
My research centers on Interactive World Models for embodied AI, spanning computer vision, computer graphics, vision-language models, and robotics. Building on a foundation in 3D/4D scene reconstruction, generation, editing, and perception, I study how agents can understand, simulate, and interact with complex physical environments. I am also actively exploring World Action Models (WAMs) to bridge environmental simulation and agent execution, with the goal of developing scalable foundational models that enable intelligent agents to act effectively in the real world.
If you would like to discuss research ideas or explore potential collaborations, please feel free to contact me.
Research Intern Recruitment
I am looking for motivated research interns to work on Interactive World Models, World Action Models (WAMs), and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) for embodied AI. Ideal candidates have a solid foundation in one or more of vision-language models, video understanding and generation, or world models. The internship is based at Robotics X Lab, Tencent, a top-tier research platform, where you will take on cutting-edge, exploratory projects.
